Position Overview
Fargo Order Fulfillment team members are responsible for a variety of warehouse operational tasks. These tasks can range from picking, packaging, product placement, warehouse moves and inventory counts, with a primary focus on either picking or packaging of parts.

Responsibilities
M ust be able to...

• Transition between the following positions throughout the warehouse as business needs and workload dictate to perform the following tasks either manually or using an electronic scanner:
  • Pick - pick parts in an assigned zone/area, quickly and accurately
  • Pack - package product and prepare for shipping
  • Ship - prepare and process orders/product for shipment
  • Product Placement - send product to home locations; put product away accurately and efficiently
• Act as a liaison between Sales, Customer Service, and PDC/Digi-Key Main Campus, answering product/inventory questions.
• Move pallet freight to appropriate Fargo warehouse locations.
• Investigate customer complaints regarding shipment errors and update inventory stock levels.
• Conduct inventory counts and update computer system to show correct quantity on hand.
• May be considered for other duties relating to operation of Powered Industrial Vehicles (EZ Go, Stock Picker, forklifts, etc.)
  • Use of Stock Picker may require going up 30ft to pick orders
• Receive product manually and or in the system.
• Open and check incoming product, verify product, part numbers, and quantity counts.
• Check in pallet freight.
• Assist in getting/moving/staging product to work stations or other designated areas of the warehouse.
• Re-package product when needed.
• Pull and stage product and prepare for shipping to Digi-Key/PDC main campus.
• Initiate nonconforming procedures.
• Assist with exceptions counts and processing.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Basic computer navigation and typing skills
• Ability to actively participate as a team member in order to meet departmental goals
• Ability to provide a positive, professional and enthusiastic outlook or perspective
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task as well as the ability to change focus quickly based on requests by employees/management
• Able to solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist and arm motion
• Capable of spending 8-10 hours walking/standing on concrete
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height
