2 positions available. Community Education Early Childhood Programs Coordinator and licensed instructor on site. Regular schedule to begin 2018- 2019 school year.
GENERAL DUTIES: Assist and support instructional staff during classes. Follow through with small groups of students as assigned by instructors. Assist instructional staff with preparation and cleanup of teaching environment. Organize and maintain classroom records as assigned. Assist with student bussing schedules as needed. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School graduate or GED
Ability to work well with multi-age group of children.
Supervises activities and monitors behaviors and activities to ensure safety of children.
Interacts and assists children in a positive manner.
Assistants lead teacher with classroom preparation and with activities.
Ability to work well with parents and staff.
Ability to possibly work evening parent/child special events
Previous experience working with young children.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience with children who have varying abilities and/or identified special needs.
Hours:
Position #1-Monday through Friday 7:15 AM -12:30 PM.
Position #2-Monday through Friday 8:30 AM -4:00 PM.
