Job Description: Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.
Education Qualifications:
NP: Master's degree in nursing
PA: Bachelor's degree in a health/science-related field

Be a part of a collaborative and positive care team in this newly created position. Our Rheumatology Department has seen tremendous growth and is in need of a Nurse Practitioner to help further support an established patient population while increasing patient access for new patients. Rheumatology experience required; candidates will receive strong support and collaboration in patient care from our Physician team.
- 1.0 FTE, full-time status
- Mon-Fri 8a-5p
- Adult, outpatient practice setting
- 12-13 outpatients per day
- No call or outreach
- Established patient base that is ready for growth
- Nurse Practitioner with Rheumatology experience required!
The Nurse Practitioner utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, the NP works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. NPs provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Rheumatology experience required!
- LICENURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in appropriate state.
- Current certification in CPR.
- National certification, in applicable area.
Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
