Grain Merchandiser / Elevator Operator

This position is an excellent opportunity to grow in Northwest Minnesota. The Coop currently has a steady grain business primarily handling wheat, soybeans, sunflower and corn that has potential to grow with the right person.

This position will be responsible for the purchasing and marketing of grain, hedging, grain grading, manage and oversee grain elevator operations, customer service, supervision of 1-3 employees, inventory control, quality control, safety compliance, elevator maintenance, budget, and other duties assigned by general manager.

Requirements:
This is a working managers job, must be able to lift up to 50#, climb, need a valid driver's license, operate forklift and loader, knowledge of computer programs such as MS word & excel, able to read, analyze and interpret market and other necessary information. 2-3 years minimum grain handling experience, 2 years college or vo-tech or equivalent of work experience. Series 3 and 30 license(s) beneficial but not required.
