Summer Intern - Marketing - Profile

JOB SUMMARY

Contribute to Sanford operations and processes while obtaining first hand experience that align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Must have good human relations and communications skills; must be able to follow procedures and instructions given by the leadership staff. Must have strong problem solving, leadership, and analytical skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Profile by Sanford is looking for a qualified intern to join our marketing/advertising team. Our marketing department produces quality work in numerous states, and seeks an intern who can participate in various stages of print and online marketing campaigns. This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing. Responsibilities

Assist in the creation and/or coordination of signage, circulars, mock-ups, e-mail campaigns, on-line promotion, etc.

Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials

Create promotional write ups to deliver to stores for execution

Assist with fulfillment of marketing offers

Assist with execution of trade shows

Perform analysis of marketing and sales data

Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline

Prepare presentations

Assist in website updates when necessary

Write and proof blogs and other website content

Provide support to social media efforts (posting and responding)

Coordinate and execute events

Assist in proofing marketing materials before campaigns are approved and printed

Coordinate and manage local store requests

Requirements - Profile by Sanford is looking for an undergraduate student who is majoring in Sales, Marketing or Advertising. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of digital and social media. PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience is a bonus, and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position.
