General Equipment & Supplies, Inc., a premier dealer in Construction and Aggregate Equipment is looking to hire more team members in our IT Department. The Sr Systems Administrator is responsible for the maintenance of the company’s multi-site IT infrastructure, including servers, networking components and PC support. Must be self-motivated, with a desire to drive improvements & efficiencies into the existing IT environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shared responsibility for availability and stability of all server & network infrastructure
- Deploy new hardware and software on servers, test, and migrate data for various upgrade projects
- Suggest & implement IT related process improvements.
- Install systems updates to all servers and end user machines
- Manage system backups and environment changes
- Assist in the support of all audio and video presentation equipment for all branches
- Provide end user support for hardware and software issues
- Provide phone support to company employees as needed
- Active Directory administration
- PC image creation and testing
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2-year degree from a Computer Tech College or job related equivalent experience
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 2003 / 2008 / 2012 R2 / 2016 Server
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange Online
- Experience with Office 365 administration
- Working knowledge of Cisco networking equipment including, managed switches, routers and firewall components
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity and Cisco Presence experience a plus
- Microsoft SQL management, Microsoft Sharepoint experience a plus
- Experience with IBM Bladecenter and SAN a plus
