Payroll Clerk- Thief River Falls, MN.

This is a Full Time Direct Hire career opportunity as a Payroll Clerk with a grower owned processing facility located in Thief River Falls, MN.  Competitive pay with benefits to be discussed with qualified applicants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for approximately 185 employees.
• Maintain payroll master records ¿ tax status, deductions, withholding, pay rates, etc.
• Review daily time transactions and calculate deductions such as income withholdings, social security payments, insurance and other withholdings.
• Prepare quarterly reports and 401 K submissions
• Maintain PTO and ETA records
• Assist HR in maintaining employee records
• Ensure all company payroll procedures are followed though by department supervisors in order to support and continually improve the quality, growth and profitability of the company.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years of office experience preferably payroll experience.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• General computer skills, as well as experience with Microsoft Office programs.

Starting Pay, Perks and Benefits

• Starting Pay Rate around $20.00 depending on experience.
