Summer Health Care Intern

Lakewood Health System has an exciting opportunity for current high school juniors and seniors to participate in the Summer Health Care Internship Program!  

This program brings students and healthcare employers together, giving students the ability to experience a healthcare environment and employers the opportunity to become more involved in their community by encouraging students to choose careers in the healthcare industry.

Students must have completed either their junior or senior year of high school by June 2018 and must intend to complete graduation requirements. Post-secondary students may be considered if student is enrolled but not graduating in 2018 and must intend to complete graduation requirements.  Priority is given to high school students.

There are two intern positions available.  This program will run June through August and average 32 hours/week per intern.  Interns will be paid $9.75/hour.  Applications are being accepted through May 23, 2018.
