JOB SUMMARY

Will assist with the Principal Investigator(s) in the development, organization, direction, and execution of research projects. Primary manager of multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional study(s). Performs all functions with minimal supervision while independently assuming responsibility for project management of research projects. This may include creating, managing, and updating timelines, budgets, resources, investigational sites, data usage agreements, vendors, and key project deliverables from project initiation to close out. Interacts effectively with project teams and cross functionally on a regional and national scale to influence overall project course and success. Assess project issues, propose resolutions to the project team, and then track implementation of resolution through to completion. May co-author scientific papers for presentation and publication. Ensures all study activities are completed by strictly following Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and all current local, state, and federal laws, regulations, guidance, policy and procedure developed by the Institutional Review Board (IRB), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). Perform and/or ensure completion of various project activities including generation of tracking documents for internal and external evaluation purposes, managing progress reports, and presenting study findings internally and externally.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Excellent knowledge of the principles and techniques related to neurovascular care is essential. Must have significant experience in data collection, evaluation, analysis, and synthesized presentation. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are necessary. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians. Must be a highly motivated individual to develop and implement a neurovascular data base which meets comprehensive stroke requirements for data collection and analysis. They will assist in grant submission and prepare formal presentations for healthcare providers.

QUALIFICATIONS

MS degree in a science related field is required.
