CNA - Reflections - Full Time

Lakewood Health System currently has an opening for a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work in Reflections, the acute geriatric behavioral health inpatient unit of the hospital.

We are currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate CNA to provide individualized, person centered care, which includes but is not limited to: assisting with feeding, dressing, bathing, toileting, transferring, and conducting groups. The CNA provides care while maintaining the patients’ rights and dignity, emphasizing behavioral approaches to encourage the patient to function at their highest level of ability.

Behavioral Health Care Staff Skills and Qualifications:

• Certification showing successful completion of the State of MN approved Nursing Assistant Program test out (CNA/CRA).
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Great multi-tasking skills
• Excellent bedside manner and patient centered approach
• Ability to create a safe, clean, and effective environment by informing others and using good judgment.
• Ability to complete group therapy with the patients, per RN delegation.

This is a full time position working 64-80 hours per pay period, rotating shifts, holidays and every other weekend. Flexibility with scheduling is preferred. No minimum prior experience required.
