Full Time position in our Special Services Office.
Compensation:
*Grade 9 , Step 1 $20.65 per/hr., Benefits package including, Health, Dental and Life Insurance
*10 days Paid Vacation
*14 Paid Holidays
*Sick Leave
Employment Requirements: Minimum of a 2-year degree in business, accounting or a related area or field.
Responsibilities:
*Codes and posts all department revenues and expenditures.
*Purchase of Services with other districts - Organize, audit and track.
*Local Collaborative Time Study (LCTS)
*Prepares and generates financial reports, summaries, or funding reports required of local, state and/or federal agencies.
*Completes ongoing applications for special education funding
*Compiles, assembles and assists the Director in the summarizing budgetary requests and other reports related to finance
*Shared Time - Monthly tracking of teacher data - tracking proportionate share in SEDRA.
*Organizes, maintains and updates student records, files and counts of the department.
*Collects attendance data for all non-public and home school students receiving special education services.
*Child Count and Tuition: Organizes, reviews and monitors the accuracy of child counts for special education (out-of-district residents & placements, non-public, Care & Treatment, and Juvenile Detention Center).
*Collects, compiles and prepares portions of MARSS reports pertaining to students in special services.
*Provides secretarial support and general clerical duties, as delegated by the Director or Assistant Director of Special Services.
*General coordination of the Special Services Office.
