Agtegra Cooperative is looking to add a full-time Assistant Agronomy Manager at their Carpenter, South Dakota location.

Position Summary:

This job will help the location manager by overseeing the day-to-day activities of the agronomy location including but not limited to ordering, managing and accounting for all inventory moving through this location and insuring all service work is done in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

Job Duties:

  • Help conduct annual reviews of all agronomy employees, training, and safety programs for those employees.
  • In conjunction with the sales agronomist, the agronomy assistant manager will be responsible for making sure that all custom application work, service work, etc. is done in a safe and professional manner meeting or exceeding the expectations of our customers.
  • Responsible for complying with the company credit policy and making sure all billing is done in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Will also help in all areas of inventory control

Experience/Education:

Looking for someone with 3-4 years management, applicator and or dispatcher experience in fertilizer, seed and ag chemical and inventory.
