Overview

This position is responsible for building customer credit relationships and providing customer solutions that grow revenue, and reduce financial risk.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Underwriting Process. Examine customer financial strength through reviewing credit application, Titan Credit History, bank information, financial statements, conducting reference checks, and utilization of 3 rd party data and underwriting as appropriate.
  • Establish collection process in conjunction with supervisor and ELT. Manage collection process and initiate collection efforts through direct customer contact as related to: NSF checks, delinquent accounts, liens and judgements.
  • Collaborate with Operations managers, Directors, and ELT to ensure that we have suitable lines of credit established for customers, while also implementing practices and protocols that ensure payment in a timely manner. Advise Region Managers, Directors, and ELT regarding credit issues and protocols.
  • Manage internal credit reports, aged receivables report along with other appropriate credit reports and distribute internally as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain credit policies, processes and procedures
  • Communicate Titan credit standards, train and educate field team on credit policy, process and options for customer credit solutions.
  • Work with IT Department to ensure systems contain information needed to monitor and make recommendations on credit related matters and build appropriate reporting tools to monitor delinquent accounts.
  • Develop early warning system for addressing credits in their early stages of decline.
  • Respond to questions and concerns from employees and management regarding credit limits, exposure, and customer accounts.
  • Assist with ensuring compliance with credit policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Initiate appropriate legal action when required.
  • Understand and utilize demonstrated best practices in creating credit solutions for customers, including participation in industry associations, credit organizations, peer groups, etc.
  • Provide systems to apply finance charges to past due accounts as permitted by local, state and federal laws.
  • Develop strong relationship with CNH Industrial and Citi Bank in reference to Productivity Plus.
  • Proactively work with Operations Managers, Customers, Citi Bank and CNH Industrial Capital establishing Business to Business Productivity Plus credit limits in line with customer business needs.
  • Perform other duties and completes projects as assigned.  


Qualifications

  • Required:
    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
    • Minimum of 4 years' experience in credit or related business experience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a high level of computer literacy
    • Demonstrate strong organization, decision making, and problem-solving skills
    • Keen attention to detail and a high level of initiative and ability to work independently
    • Proficient computer knowledge and adaptability to use verification systems or credit decision resources/applications
    • Ability to review and interpret credit reports, and other relevant financial information, and make sound business judgments
    • Demonstrate willingness to learn new systems, concepts and broaden knowledge in the industry
    • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
    • Ability to travel up to 10% based on business needs.
