Under the direction of the County Engineer/Public Works Director, the Assistant County Engineer manages and directs the day to day operations of the engineering and highway maintenance divisions of Public Works. This includes the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of highways, bridges, and other Public Works infrastructure. This person assists the County Engineer/Public Works Director in the overall operations of the Department.
