JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the support and implementation of the design, planning, testing, growth, evaluation and daily functional support of Sanford Health’s financial planning & analysis system. As a lead super user, this role provides education, guidance and support to department staff to develop reporting systems capabilities. Works closely with users to understand business requirements and ensure configurations properly function to meet business needs across the organization. Assists with leading the enterprise budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting processes, including preparing the timelines, organization requirements, and training users on new and existing functionality of the reporting system. Responsible for implementing new modules within the system that will allow Sanford to become more efficient and agile in its financial planning and analysis processes. Responsible for current and future reporting tools. Supports financial systems improvement efforts, implementations, and upgrades as needed. Assists with leading super user group to ensure the entire Sanford footprint is properly trained and engaged in how to use the system. Supports proper integration of any future ERP systems, including Workday. Guides improvement efforts, implementations, and upgrades as needed. Collaborates across departments to ensure the system runs smoothly and proper security access is granted. Obtains input and feedback on system needs from appropriate parties; interacts with support team and leadership to resolve issues; conducts or obtains evaluations of system performance and makes modifications or adjustments as necessary. Provides input for roadmap of how Sanford will utilize system and other financial accounting systems to ensure the organization can conduct financial planning and analysis efficiently and accurately, both now and in the future. Ensure that data output, which includes actual and plan data, from financial systems is accurate and troubleshoot variances and inaccuracies as needed. Perform administrative tasks associated with the system. Provide education, support and guidance to staff in the use of the system, create training tools and conduct workshops as well as individual assistance. Act as project team member for system upgrades and participates in user acceptance testing associated with such upgrades. Manages projects and timelines in conjunction with IT as required.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or related field required and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Masters or CPA preferred. Experience with Kaufman Hall highly preferred. Experience as a super user of a financial planning & analysis system preferred. Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
