    • JOB SUMMARY
      • The Scheduler-Payroll-Home Care develops and maintains staff work schedules per plans of care and department standards. Maintains and updates payroll system for payroll related information. Completes other tasks as assigned.
    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
      • Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
      • Experience: Six (6) months of previous office/clerical and related scheduling experience, including the use of basic computer (Microsoft) office software applications.
      • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Wisconsin Background Study upon hire and renewed per Wisconsin state law.
    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

      • Experience: One (1) year experience with St. Lukes payroll process.
      • Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A
    • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
      • Knowledge of basic communication skills, computerized office applications, bookkeeping principles, accepted payroll practices, customer relations principles, telephone answering, keyboard proficiency and organization skills. Knowledge of office procedures; medical records; medical record forms and placement; medical terminology. Skills: Computer, spelling, punctuation, use of reference materials, filing, typing. Abilities: Ability to utilize various computer software including Meditech, Outlook, Excel, Word and Kronos. Ability to establish and maintain empathetic, respectful and positive customer relations behaviors and to effectively communicate with patients/families, clinics, Physicians, clinicians, management and support staff, both on the telephone and in person. Ability to present and maintain a professional image and demeanor and to tactfully negotiate scheduling needs. Ability to prioritize, do multi-functional tasks and to complete tasks in a timely manner with close attention to details and accuracy, to work independently in an environment with interruptions, people and equipment congestion. Ability to work in stressful conditions and to be flexible. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, demonstrate good judgment in determining work priorities, understand and comply with policies and procedures related to confidentiality.
      • READING - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
      • WRITING - Basic: Ability to write simple correspondence.
      • SPEAKING - Basic: Ability to speak simple sentences.
      • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Basic Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
      • REASONING ABILITY - Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
