IT Support Specialist

Position Summary:
This position is part of the Technology Service Desk team dedicated to providing excellent customer service and support for a variety of end user hardware and software. This position provides leadership for laptop hardware repairs, assists with laptop software configuration, creates technical documents, provides occasional user training and provides both in-person and remote end-user support. Periodic travel using a State fleet vehicle is required to support users in Fargo, ND.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or an Associate degree and three years of directly related work experience or five years of directly related work experience; experience supporting Mac OS 10x and Windows 10 operating systems; effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; and a valid driver's license are required.

Preferred Qualifications:
CompTIA A+ certification; experience with laptop hardware repair, MDM, help desk ticketing system, creating technical documents, and providing remote user support including phone, online chat, and desktop sharing are preferred.

Compensation:
