Job Details
The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist/Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist prepares the Cath Lab for Cardiac Cath Lab procedures; assesses and fulfills patient needs; performs hemodynamic and control room duties; completes patient catheterization report; correlates the analysis of invasive and non-invasive tests; performs Cardiac Cath Lab procedures maintaining proper sterile technique; performs stress tests; practices radiation safety; transports patients and adjusts own work schedule to meet fluctuation in patient workload. Patients cared for include: adult and geriatric.
Required:
• Applicants must meet one (1) of the following two listed qualifications:
1. Graduate of a cardiovascular training program.
2. Currently or previously employed in the field of Cardiovascular Technology.
• Successful completion of the functional assessment.
Preferred:
• Past experience as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Certified.
• Cardiac monitoring experience.
• Registered by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
