Supporting Hands Nurse-Family Partnership (SHNFP) is seeking one full-time Public Health Nurse in the Pope or Stevens County office, to be a Nurse Home Visitor, who is compassionate, organized, flexible, and self-directed; with strong advocacy and teaching skills. Responsibilities will include providing home visiting services to eligible first-time mothers and their families. You will be a part of a supportive team of nurses. Requires valid MN BSN RN degree with PHN certification preferred. Valid MN driver's license required. Strongly desirable qualifications include previous experience in home visiting, working with families with young children, and working with diverse populations. Requires a flexible schedule and travel. Beginning salary ranges from $56,160 - $58,240 annually, based upon experience.

Supporting Hands Nurse-Family Partnership Nurse Home Visitors are registered nurses (RNs), with experience in public health nursing, maternal and child health, labor & delivery, pediatrics, and other related fields.

Our nurses have specialized knowledge and training in this evidence-based, community health program. Nurse-Family Partnership nurses help first-time mothers have healthy pregnancies, improve child health and development, and become more economically self-sufficient. Nurses who deliver the Nurse-Family Partnership program in their communities establish trusted relationships with mothers during home visits, providing guidance for the emotional, social, and physical challenges these first-time moms face as they prepare to become parents and prepare their children for successful futures.

Supporting Hands Nurse Home Visitors are located in public health departments throughout the 20-county area.
