PRACTICE SPECIFICS
- Join the recently established Fargo Behavioral Health Department at Essentia Health. To date, we have successfully implemented outpatient psychology services within our primary care clinics in Jamestown and Fargo, ND. This particular opportunity is for an outpatient practice at our South University Family Medicine department in Fargo.
- Provide psychology in the outpatient clinic setting, for pediatric through adult patients, according to your interest and scope of practice. We are especially interested in someone who can see pediatric and adolescent patients.
- The department does not provide afterhours call coverage to the hospital or ED. The department provides ED and inpatient consultations upon limited request. The local crises team provides support to ED patients.
- Outreach opportunities at other Essentia Health clinics within daytime driving distance may be possible at some point in time but not initially
- Telemedicine services may be used in the future in the Outpatient Setting

- BC/BE in Psychology

- Centrally located on the border of North Dakota & Minnesota
- 4 hours west of Minneapolis/St. Paul
- Fargo-Moorhead population: 180,000
- Regional Service area consists of 25 clinics & 5 hospitals
Licensure/CertificationQualifications:
Must be a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Minnesota, or in the state in which Essentia practice is located. Certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or ability to obtain certification within a six-month period from start of employment.
