Concordia College invites applications for the position of the Registrar of the College.
The Registrar is responsible for the maintenance and integrity of all student academic records, the creation and maintenance of course schedules, all areas of student registration and the recording and reporting of grades, compliance with FERPA regulations, and the establishment and maintenance of processes for the equitable and consistent administration of policies and procedures as they relate to registration and evaluation processes. The Registrar serves on a variety of faculty and institutional committees and participates in the development and implementation of College policy. The Registrar reports to the Associate Dean of the College.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the advancement of Concordia’s Liberal Arts curriculum by providing guidance, advice, and vision regarding policies and procedures to appropriate campus constituencies.
The Registrar will be responsible for the supervision of a staff including an Assistant Registrar and office personnel.
Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of five years administrative experience in higher education or related experience, experience managing student information systems (SIS) or related experience, strong skills in written and oral communication with students, parents, faculty, staff and general public, experience in conflict resolution, successful supervisory experience and demonstrated ability to build consensus among a diverse community that affirms an abundance of identities, experiences, and perspectives, a record of problem-solving and innovation, and sympathy with the mission of a college of the Lutheran (ELCA) church.
