Required qualifications:
Appropriate WI DPI licensure in any or all of the following areas:
625 Physics
635 Earth/Space Science
637 Physical Science
606 Life & Environmental Science
605 Biology & Life Science
615 Environmental Studies
600 Science with another high school science licensure area
601 Broadfield Science with another high school science licensure area
Desired qualifications:
Multiple licensure areas
Ability to coach athletics or advise co-curricular activities
The 2018-19 teaching assignment for this position includes: Applied Physics, 8th grade Earth Science, 7th grade Life Science, team-taught 7th grade STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, Math), plus one or two high school semester elective courses. Recent elective course offerings include the following classes but may be adjusted based on teacher licensure: Physics, Geology, Astronomy, Oceanography, Marine Biology, Meteorology, Zoology, or Water Science. High school elective classes are offered on a rotating basis determined by student & teacher interest.
Opportunities to coach or advise extra-curricular activities are also available. We have openings for coaches at various levels in volleyball, girls' basketball, cross country, and wrestling. We are also seeking high school class advisors, a school play director, and a science club advisor.
