Our Department of Education is seeking applicants for a pool of temporary Instructors available to teach for the 2018-2019 academic year. Specific needs include: children's literature, literacy (early childhood and elementary reading specialist), and special education (early childhood, elementary, secondary).

Qualifications
Required academic qualification to be eligible for the Instructor position is a Masters degree from an accredited institution in education or field related to specific teaching assignment. Required academic qualification to be eligible for the Assistant Professor position is a Doctorate from an accredited institution in education or field related to specific teaching assignment.
Required experience for Instructor and Assistant Professor positions include: capacity for successful teaching at the university level, demonstrated excellence in written communication skills, commitment to the education of racially and linguistically diverse populations.
Preferred experience for Instructor and Assistant Professor positions include: two or more years teaching experience in P-12 schools, two or more years teaching experience at the university level, experience with and commitment to working with students from diverse population groups, evidence of ability to integrate diversity issues into the curriculum, experience teaching with technology and evidence of ability to integrate technology into the curriculum.
