Martin Construction, Inc. a regional Highway Heavy Construction contractor, is recruiting a motivated, skilled team player for the position of
Health, Safety & Environment Manager
Develop and execute health and safety policies in the workplace according to legal guidelines
Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and
accident prevention
Ensure everyone in the company complies with health and safety laws
Responsible for establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace
Execute various safety programs
Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
Conduct safety meetings with proper documentation
Manage, identify and eliminate hazards or dangerous situations
Provide safe environment
Train and prevent accidents or incidents
Requires five years of construction experience. A college degree in occupational safety and health, a Certified Safety Professional (CSP),
or applicable training area may be substituted for years of experience.
