JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting the vision, strategy, and objectives of the Total Rewards Center of Excellence (COE). Support the implementation of Sanford's framework for base salary, incentives, and compensation programs including grade structures, salary ranges, and merit guidelines. Analyze and make recommendations as needed on new hire rates, re-organizations, specialized programs, etc. Responsible for inputs into compensation program strategy, policy, design, and operations reflecting needs of employee population and regulatory environment. Assist in addressing complex inquiries escalated from the Employee Service Center (ESC). Lead benchmarking and competitive intelligence activities for compensation (base salary models, merit, and incentive programs for employees and managers). In partnership with Talent Management, develop practices and guidelines for competitive new hire offers for non-executive staff. Ensure regulatory and audit compliance regarding compensation programs and policies. Provide technical input to compensation communications. Manage robust market analysis regarding compensation programs for the markets; analyze and report key findings to Compensation leadership at regular intervals. Perform mergers and acquisitions benefits due diligence to ensure compliance and integration of compensation programs. Oversee vendor relationship management and operations. Support Compensation leadership in providing guidance and mentoring other Compensation staff. Assist with responding to internal and external audit requirements. Ability to handle multiple requests in a timely manner. Ability to manage complex requests within tight deadlines. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. Strong business acumen and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and listening skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline. 3 - 5 years experience in compensation; experience in Healthcare and/or Insurance industry preferred.
