Engineering Technician

Perform or assist with engineering tasks to develop, design and direct reconstruction, preservation or maintenance projects to completion. Independently make technical decisions and direct the work of other staff on specific projects.

WAGE RANGE
$21.82 - $29.32, depending upon qualifications

REQUIREMENTS
Civil Engineering Technology Degree or related degree with considerable experience in highway design, construction, and surveying. Ability to obtain necessary MnDOT certification in Aggregate Production, Grading and Base, Concrete, Bituminous, and Erosion Control.

EMPLOYMENT VARIABLES
The typical schedule is 40 hours per week. Additional hours may be required but vary based upon work load demands. Applicant must have the ability to pass a medical physical, back screening test and a drug test.
