Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant, under the medical direction of clinic physicians, is responsible for providing assistance to the physicians through coordination of the patients visit and performing designated procedures and patient care. The Medical Assistant also provides support with the Clinic when not providing patient care.
Position Responsibilities:
Seeking a highly motivated individual who demonstrates the ability to follow directions. Prepares patients for exams and assists physicians with procedures. Ability to work with providers and staff to meet the health care needs of the patient. Obtain vital signs, maintain computerized patient records and medication data.
Assist patients with scheduling upcoming surgeries and appointments. Ability to demonstrate positive patient relations to present a professional image. Reliability and supportive behaviors with team members is essential.
Monday-Friday clinic hours.
