NHS is seeking an enthusiastic individual to work on software robotics technology, a rapidly growing technology. The NHS automation team utilizes various technology stacks while working with internal healthcare functional areas to find optimal use cases to continually create efficiencies. This system-based mid-level position would work with team members, customers and vendors to conduct system design, application configuration, testing and deployments relating to NHS' advanced automation toolsets. This position would need to understand basic programming and coding principals and apply them to healthcare based solutions. This position is mostly an application configuration based position where programming essentials are beneficial.

Job Summary

The Systems Analyst supports the technical needs of the various lines of business within the organization using analytical, problem solving, planning, and organizational skills. This position takes ownership of assigned systems and acts as the technical liaison between Information Technology (IT) and the business area(s) on IT projects and initiatives.

Essential Functions

Key Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
  • Applies problem solving and analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot technical production issues.
  • Documents and tests modification to new or existing applications (EDI, Noridian's External Portal, IVR, Document Management System, website technology, etc.)
  • Determines and implements best solution to resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Under guidance, performs system configuration on assigned systems.
  • Develops and continually improves the organization's systems and business processes.
  • Conducts system health checks and basic testing.
  • Creates documentation in each instance to ensure consistency in plans and communications.
  • Acts as a technical liaison between the business functions and various IT staff and vendors.
  • Supports and coordinates testing activities on IT related initiatives.
  • Independently performs system configuration on assigned systems.
  • Focuses on the organization's applications (EDI, Noridian's External Portal, IVR, Document Management System, website technology, etc.) which are vital applications within the organization and other business portfolios.
  • Responsible for product ownership, stability, functionality, growth, and planning.
  • Coordinates, project manages, and prioritizes activities and communication on the project.
  • Acts as a liaison and leader to various stakeholders on underlying technology such as LifeRay, Java, .net, Database technologies, and information management.
  • Possesses an organizational understanding across all lines of business and applies this understanding to each project, problem, or assigned task.
  • Identifies opportunities and implements process improvement at a cross-departmental level.
  • Provides technical expertise in project requirements, solution design, and testing.
  • Coordinates system releases, fixes, or enhancements and validates functionality.
  • Creates and executes test plans.

Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field 4 years' related work experience OR Associate's degree in IT or related field and 8 years' systems experience
  • Intermediate understanding of IT systems, platforms and data flow
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Above requirements and the following:
  • 2 years technical troubleshooting and documenting of production/project related issues
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
  • Ability to manage and communicate with various stakeholders
  • Ability to direct and maintain a productive and conducive working environment
  • Ability to coordinate activities among co-workers, vendors and peers
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Healthcare and/or Medicare experience
