Summary: Provide efficient and effective CNC programs for various CNC machines for prototyping, production, and/or tooling initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Design cutting methods/plans

Design work holding methods/plans

Specify cutters

Determine spindle speeds

Specify stock sizes

Optimize and develop machining methods

Coordinate certification of production programs

Issue job instructions and tool lists to CNC Operators

Generate tool paths using CAM Software, both 3 and 5 axis programming using both Master Cam and or Power mill.

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
