Franciscan Health Center: LPN & Facility Coordinator

The purpose of the LPN & Facility Coordinator position is to enter orders, assist in the day-to-day recording of medical or administrative information in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern medical records, and as may be required by the organization policy, and to ensure that records are maintained in an informative, descriptive manner.

The position's purpose is also to provide direct nursing care to the residents and to monitor the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. The performance of the Licensed Practical Nurse duties must be in accordance with the current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern medical records and our facility, and as may be required and communicated by the Director of Nursing (DON) or Administrator to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. The position also entails a rotating weekend call.
