Compliance Manager - Duluth, MN

Full-time, Compliance Officer/Manger needed for a well-respected bank in Duluth, MN. The working hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday). Starting salary is between $40,000 - $50,000 per year depending on experience.

JOB SUMMARY

The Compliance Officer is responsible in developing and implementing an effective bank compliance program. Will proactively audit the processes, practices and documents to ensure that the bank is in compliance with all current regulations and applicable statues. The Compliance Officer will create a program that all employees will be trained and educate on all facets of compliance. A Compliance Officer ensures that our operations and business transactions follow all relevant legal requirements and internal policies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate contracts and agreements and to make sales presentations.

* Excellent interpersonal skills applicable to a training oriented environment.

* Excellent mathematical and analytic skills.

* Attention to detail and organization.

* Thorough knowledge of finance, accounting and economics, as would normally be acquired through a four-year, college-level course of study; continuing education in one of the above listed fields;

* Effective human relations, business writing and communication skills.

* Ability to change and adapt to the needs of the Bank as necessary to meet organizational goals.

* Ability to utilize computer and general office equipment and become proficient in the most current computer software or Bank-specific programs. Must have a well-developed knowledge and skill of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet and E-Mail.

* Other training and educational expectations completed as determined by supervisor or management.
