Manufacturing Specialist-2nd shift

We are seeking a 2nd shift Manufacturing Specialist to join our production team in Cannon Falls, MN.
Pay Rate: $14.87-$20.14 per hour. Shift: M-F; 3:00-11:30pm

Position Summary

Learn and demonstrate proficiency in all positions within the Plant to back-fill any position based on business need. 

Essential Functions

• Letter Finisher
  • Ensure products are clean and free from scratches and foreign materials.
  • Properly finish and assemble as instructed by the work order.
  • Assure each order is complete by counting and matching contents with the work order.
  • Install LED’s in accordance with UL guidelines.
  • May be required to complete UL paperwork and undergo MTR training.

• Painter
  • Mix appropriate quantity of paint per work order, ensure that the paint is properly mixed as indicated by local conditions and matching paint chips or samples if required by the job.
  • Spray products as required, ensuring that paint is applied in a manner consistent with customer requirements and company quality standards.

• Shipper
  • Inspect finished products for function, aesthetics, and quality, if required, and may clean products as necessary.
  • Maintain familiarity with shipping procedures, bill of lading etc. and prepare products for UPS/truck pick-up required.

• Letter Cutter
  • Ensure that flanges or edges of letters are properly cut as indicated by the work order and customer requirements.

• Vacuum Machine Operator
  • Cycles the machine, forms the letters and removes formed letters for cooling and remove molds and cut out letters from sheet

• Letter Mold Maker
  • Determine mold pattern size, and glue or nail wooden components together to appropriate size requirements
  • Cut wood to approximate dimensions of molds, as required, using power or hand saws.

Required Education/Experience

High School Diploma and 1 – 2 years of experience in a production environment 
 

Preferred Experience/Knowledge

Manufacturing Experience and/or Automotive Paint Experience

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Operate a variety of power saws and routers, cutting out letters from plastic sheets.
