Job Details
The Content Writer is responsible for writing, editing and reviewing internal and external communication materials to align with our brand positioning strategy and quality standards. This role works as a part of a cross-functional team to create materials for members, employer groups, providers and employees. The Content Writer must be able to meet daily deadlines and possess strong spelling, grammar and punctuation skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Writes clear, concise and grammatically correct content types for business operations, marketing initiatives and internal communications which includes, but is not limited to: letters, newsletters, brochures, posters, postcards, website, social media content and company intranet.
• Gains understanding of the message and translate content into different styles/tones to reach multiple audiences such as members, employer groups, providers and employees.
• Edits and reviews content developed by business stakeholders for web and print.
• Gathers content information and collaborates with internal staff to create effective messages designed to achieve business objectives.
• Brainstorms with creative team and provides ideas, suggestions and content development on project execution.
• Escalates concerns to key stakeholders regarding content that may need review.
