Position Description:
The Campus Recreation and Intramural Sports Coordinator is responsible for the development, management and delivery of campus recreation, climbing wall and intramural sport programs. All programs are offered through a safe and welcoming environment for a diverse student and member population. Responsibilities include managing all operations for staff, programs, budget, inventory and the maintenance of recreation equipment, facility scheduling and risk management, as well as training, leading and supervising a graduate assistant and 60+ student employees.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Sport Management, Physical Education or related field
• 2 years of experience in the promotion, design, development, and administration of recreation programs or 2 years of experience training, leading, and supervising student or full-time staff in a recreation setting
• Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office or other software programs
• Ability to successfully lead and manage staff
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and customer service skills
• Ability to thrive in an environment that values high expectations and accountability

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Recreation, Sport Management, Physical Education or related field
• Experience working with climbing wall programs
• Experience with IM Leagues and Fusion recreation management systems
• Experience training and supervising sport officials
