The Early Interventionist works with children from birth to 36 months of age. Early Intervention is a home-based, family-focused service that provides information, support, and training for families to assist them in meeting their child’s needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills for working with families and presenting information; excellent knowledge of child development to recognize typical development as well as red flags; a strong work ethic; enjoy variety in your day; and have a passion for empowering children and families to reach their full potential!
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in early childhood special education is required, as well as a North Dakota teaching license. Travel in a five-county area to the child’s home is required. Mileage and drive time are covered.
