Deputy Auditor/Treasurer

Applications are being accepted for a Deputy Auditor/ Treasurer position, under the general supervision of the Clearwater County Auditor/Treasurer. This position assisting with maintenance of departmental accounting functions, processing accounts payable, receipting monies, entering and maintaining county budgets, reconciling and balancing accounts. Responsible for processing land tax forfeitures, assists with payroll, tax collection and the entering of special assessments, issuance of passports and administrating election procedures.

Desired education requirements are an Associate Degree in accounting, business, finance or related field or a minimum of three years' experience in accounting of governmental accounting procedures and practices. Must be proficient in computer skills and willing to learn various software applications.
