    • JOB SUMMARY
      • The Ambulatory Systems Analyst, under the direction of the Director of Clinic Operations, focuses on the clinical processes within the clinic division, serves as the Information Technology Core Team Leader for the Patient Practice Management System. This includes participation in requirements analysis, planning, systems selection, design, configuration, education, implementation and ongoing support.
    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
      • Education: Bachelors Degree.
      • Experience: Two (2) years in a clinical setting working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
      • Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A
    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
      • Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Health Information Management.
      • Experience: Experience in clinic operations, which may include work as a Clinical Assistant, Rad-Lab Technologist, Procedure Scheduler, or other similarly related positions. History of collaborative working relationships with multiple healthcare disciplines; aptitude for information systems and system thinking. Experience with clinic information technology projects and Microsoft Project.

    • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
      • Ability to work independently, organize and manage multiple tasks/priorities and meet deadlines. Knowledge of clinic scheduling, registration, reimbursement, billing and documentation. Proficiency with PCs, Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project). Excellent verbal and written communication skills, teaching ability and problem solving skills. Professionally motivated. This position requires occasional travel, which may include overnights and weekends sufficient to handle the responsibilities of the position.
      • READING - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
      • WRITING - Intermediate: Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures.
      • SPEAKING - Intermediate: Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations or before groups of customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
      • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Basic Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
      • REASONING ABILITY - Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
