Plant Operations Supervisor- Kimball

Agtegra Cooperative is seeking a plant operations supervisor at our Kimball, SD location. 

Position Summary

The Plant Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing location employees working in operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures the location employees are engaging in safe and secure work practices.
• Assists with the operating and maintaining of all equipment associated with the blending, mixing, and loading of dry bulk fertilizer, liquid fertilizer, bulk and packaged chemical, bulk and bagged seed, and feed as needed.
• Keeps adequate inventories of all fertilizer, chemical, and feed, within guidelines provided by the location manager.
• Follow label instructions and proper missing orders when loading crop protection products, blending fertilizer, or when treating or inoculating seed. Knowledge of chemicals and use rates is a must.
• Operate and maintain seed and dry fertilizer bulk handling equipment (Bobcat, Forklift, and Payloader) in a safe and efficient manner and perform necessary preventative maintenance on them.

Education and Experience Required

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
