PeriOperative Nurse Manager

Serve as a leader within MMC’s PeriOperative Service Department to promote a professional practice environment that enables the multidisciplinary team members to continuously provide patient care excellence.  Along with coordination of day-to-day functioning of the operating room suites, responsibilities include: ensure regulatory compliance for the continuum surgical services; lead process and performance improvement; select, retain and develop high performing staff; contribute to a strong patient-focused and team-based culture; collaborate with Administration team, in budgeting, strategic planning and financial stewardship.

Will work in collaboration with other PeriOperative leaders and possess exceptional communication skills, be a demonstrated leader and team player, and have outstanding customer service skills.

Qualified applicants will have a minimum education of BSN, 4 years surgical services experience (6 years preferred), strong managerial operational experience (in the operating room preferred).  Must hold a Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).  Clinical Specialty certification and/or CNOR preferred.
