JOB SUMMARY

Oversees new member entry into existing Wellness programming. Responsible for ensuring new members are qualified by their current levels of exercise experience and conditions of health to ensure they are placed into the most appropriate entry program. Responsible for membership attrition. Meetings are held with staff and communication is on-going concerning consumer centered programming. Requires outside business contact for the purpose of marketing memberships and/or wellness programming. Responsible for new membership development and reviewing existing contracts. Manages all members accounts. Demonstrate detailed computer knowledge with ability to decipher account and billing information regarding members accounts. Excels at demonstrating professional interaction and courteous contact with customers. Ability to work with several customers and handle phone inquiries at once. Utilizes excellent communication skills with both internal teams and clients of the facility.Knowledge of all facility programs and services with special emphasis and knowledge of the any new initiative programs. Demonstrates skill in sales closing techniques. Ability to provide professional letter writing techniques and skill in the development of proposals. Skills in working with workers compensation and insurance carriers. Ability to perform mathematical calculations quickly with accuracy. Utilize effective problems-solving techniques. Ability to establish and negotiate fees with new corporate accounts.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Explains major sales programs, initiatives and issues. Exhibits a personal standard of excellence marked by honesty and integrity. Facilitates the resolution of customer problems, issues, or concerns. Follows appropriate scheduling procedures and prioritizes actions. Handles basic types of enrollment transactions and premium billings or invoices. Identifies the primary means of communication and their appropriateness for different occasions. Maintains line-of-sight with organizational goals to ensure maximum impact. Presents a professional image, especially when dealing with customers. Provides appropriate degrees of attention to both personal and professional priorities. Utilizes different tools or techniques to identify key product features.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

QUALIFICATIONS

Based on facility needs, may require Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and formal training on LifePak 250. If not obtained at time of hire, will be formally trained. Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum one year applicable work experience required.
