The temporary Recruiter is responsible for the overall life-cycle of recruiting which includes, but not limited to: posting positions, working with managers on their hiring needs and requests, replying to applicants, interviewing, being an integral part of general orientation, entering new hire information into HRIS system, analyzing business hiring needs, attend career fairs, creative in sourcing, ability to network outside the area to attract candidates, make offers to candidates and complete background checks and drug screens. The typical work hours are Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, some flexibility in schedule to attend career fairs, interviews, etc. This position is located at our Moorhead office. The duration of the position is three to four months.  Minimal travel may be required.

 

This position will meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Minimum of three years general recruiting experience or A.A.S. degree in human resources with minimum two years recruiting or human resource generalist experience.

  • Must possess current knowledge and experience with employment laws and regulations.

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

 

Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Three to five years of experience in a Human Resource Generalist/Staffing role preferred. 

  • Previous experience working with multiple locations is a strong plus.

  • Prefer a strong background in human resource practices with emphasis on recruiting tactics.

  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

  • Maintains high level of confidentiality, ethics, professionalism and customer focus in all aspects of responsibilities.
