Job Details

Support the Facility Department with very strong computer skills. Maintain and control all the work orders to support the building management system. Analyze and track utility invoices and all facility expenses to assure a balanced budget. Produce charts & graphs to explain gathered data to the facility and management teams. Design, produce and maintain plant layout in Visio or appropriate computer software. Maintain inventory control, records and files, in addition to assisting in maintaining the company's facilities and equipment. Must have strong attention to detail and be able to maintain confidentiality always. Must also have effective communication skills, problem-solving skills, in addition to being flexible to changing plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Data gathering to develop current and future project planning & budgets. Produce flow charts to track current and future projects. Program control, project management, customer and team interaction.
  • Assists in setup of production systems, supporting manufacturing facility needs, in addition to office moves.
  • Assists in remodeling, expansions, and changes to building or grounds.
  • Produces quality presentations to explain project initiatives and track project progression to completion.
  • Ensures that all assigned work areas are always kept clean, orderly, and presentable at all times.
  • Wears proper protective equipment during appropriate job functions
  • Complies with all paperwork that governs job duties. May be assigned to different work areas and locations as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed by the Department, Supervisor, Director or appropriate designee.
  • Flexibility in job tasks is a must for this position due to quickly changing priorities.

Education and/or Experience:
  • Two-year college degree or two to five years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn software programs
  • Project management, ability to learn blue prints and building and construction schematics.

Job Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:
  • High level of computer skills necessary to perform job functions
  • Attention to detail
  • Multitasking
  • Excellent team player with great people and communication skills
  • Background in mechanical and/or building maintenance preferred
  • Driver's license required
