Accounting Clerk

Penmac Staffing is recruiting for an Accounting Asssistant for a utility company in Nixa.

Duties:

• Payroll A/R and A/P
• Front office management
• Data Entry using QuickBooks
• Spreadsheet maintenance using Microsoft Excel
• Billing Phone duties to answer and process service calls
• Customer Service duties to assist customers, contractors and vendors.
• Assisting the Purchasing Manager and coworkers with various tasks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in A/R, A/P, and Billing
• QuickBooks experience preferred but not necessary
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Research and problem solving skills to resolve issues.
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Hours will be 7:30am-4:30pm with some OT, M-F. Pay will start at $12/hr+, depending on experience.Temp to hire position with benefits offered upon hire.
