Mental Health Interns provide individual and group therapy under the supervision of a master’s level clinician. Mental Health Interns may work with other therapists, educators, case managers or others to assist individuals with mental health challenges to learn coping skills, manage depression and anxiety or address concerns in their life. This position works under a task supervisor in Jamestown and will meet regularly with the Supervisor of record.

This position will meet the following minimum requirements:

• Must be actively enrolled in a master’s degree program in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  
• Must be a student in good standing and eligible for an internship
  
• The institution of record must verify student is available for internship enrollment and approve site.

Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:

• Preferred skills include history of working with people with disabilities and/or youth and families
  
• Working knowledge of basic keyboarding and office software
