Job Details

The Manufacturing Engineering Technician's main role will be to perform preventative maintenance on production tooling. This will include inspecting the diameter of bushings, overhauling dispensing equipment, lubricating hoist systems, and ensuring clamping devices are engaging correctly. Other tasks might include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, creating specialty tooling, and welding broken carts.

Candidates should…
  • Have good dexterity
  • Have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and how they work
  • Have basic machining abilities (manual lathe & mill)
  • Have basic welding skills (MIG)
  • Have mechanical experience
  • Know how to use hand tools
  • Be able to read an engineering drawing
  • Have basic computer skills
  • Be able to work alone
  • Have good attention to detail

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED is required. One to two years of experience is preferred, but not required.
