JOB SUMMARY

Contribute to Sanford Radiology operations and processes while obtaining first hand experience that align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Must have good human relations and communications skills; must be able to follow procedures and instructions given by the leadership staff. Must have strong problem solving, leadership, and analytical skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products.

QUALIFICATIONS

If working in ND as an LXMO, ARRT certification and ND license required within 6 months of completion of the ARRT program (date to be determined by dept.). Must be enrolled in a program accredited as designated by department and have completed curriculum through the sophomore level. At a Senior level in the enrolled education program and under the direction of a Radiologist, they may perform limited general radiology procedures per protocol at a technical level after completion of clinical competencies. Must have good human relations and communications skills; must be able to follow procedures and instructions given by the leadership staff. Must have strong problem solving, leadership, and analytical skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products. If working in ND as a Limited X-Ray Machine Operator (LXMO), must be enrolled in an education program which meets the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) standards for certification at a senior level and have completed all clinical competencies which are required by the State. Under the direction of a Radiologist, the LXMO may perform limited general radiology procedures per protocol at a technical level. Fluoroscopy imaging cannot be performed by a LXMO. Upon completion/graduation of the ARRT program, the LXMO may continue to work for a period of 6 months, during which time the individual must obtain ARRT certification and state licensure.
