AGCO-Amity JV, LLC is accepting applications for a results-driven Product Support Manager to join our tillage and seeding leadership team.  The Product Support Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the Product Support Strategic Business Plan for the organization.  Focusing on the entire Customer’s Use Experience, the Product Support Manager is a key role to providing a differentiated product and parts support experience for customers and dealers on a worldwide basis for our seeding and tillage products.

Essential Duties:

  • Provides product and parts support for dealer network and customers.
  • Develops, communicates, enforces, and monitors effective Parts and Service processes to ensure effectiveness and internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Creates and monitors annual Parts and Service Department goals and budget in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives
  • Manages recruiting, staffing, employee development, and career path activities for employees reporting to this position.  Retain key talent through individual development plans.
  • Develops and executes Parts and Service Department marketing plan, including parts ordering programs, and monitors to ensure achievement of established goals
  • Support New Product Development by providing product usage experience of current products and appropriate in-field support of prototype machines.
  • Support new products post launch for early detection of quality or performance issues.
  • Maintains all management reports necessary to audit the performance of department and individual employees. 
  • Monitors metrics on a monthly basis to assure achievement of departmental goals.
  • Insures proper parts stocking levels to maximize customer satisfaction and maximize utilization of company resources.
  • Review and approves dealer and customer warranty claims and monitors warranty expense and recovery rates to meet company objectives.
  • Ensures that Service Department is equipped with the necessary tools and service equipment is available and maintained in good working order.
  • Develops, maintains, and adheres to a priority system for scheduling all service work, both dealer and customer direct.
  • Coordinates dealer training program and service-related customer clinics.
  • Represents our services, parts, and products to prospective customers by supporting trade shows and direct customer visits.
  • Maintain and develop current dealer and customer relationships.
  • Understands and ensures adherence to corporate and customer data policies
  • Performs other functions or duties as directed by management in line with the objectives of the company.

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Agriculture, Business, or similar field preferred.
  • Five plus (5+) years of relevant agricultural or construction equipment experience.
  • Ag Dealership Management experience preferred.

  • Identifies complex problems, conducts root cause analysis and recommends solutions.
  • Work under little daily supervision and guidance to identify and ensure achievement of team goals and to complete individual work assignments within established time frames.
  • Excellent written communication and record keeping skills; along with excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in standard computer software applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and ability to become proficient with internal fourthshift system.
  • Strong analysis and judgement skills.
  • Effective organization and time management skills.

TRAVEL Some overnight business travel, including international. Valid driver`s license required.  Ability to obtain passport required…
