Dining Services - Chef

About the Job

This is a full time position (64 hours a pay period), working varied shifts at our Grand Arbor facility. This includes every other weekend and every other holiday.

Summary:
Responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen. Ensure that all recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet specifications and commitment to quality. Maintain a safe, orderly and sanitized kitchen.

Reports to:
Sous Chef

Scope:
Responsible for execution of the food preparation and cooking activities of all assisted living dining rooms, Pioneer Grill, and the Bistro. Works primarily in the restaurant/kitchen area, and has frequent contact with staff, residents and customers. Is designated as kitchen lead in absence of the Sous Chef.
