Job Information
Execute industry-leading training and education of Bobcat dealer sales specialists and service technicians, both individually & in group situations, on Bobcat products & accessories. In addition to delivering the training, Trainer will also be responsible for developing the training content and serve as the lead for one or more training programs.
Role & Responsibility
Customer Support
- Develop product knowledge base to enhance ability to answer customer and dealer questions.
- Participate in product demonstrations, dealer open houses, sales blitzes, trade shows and fairs, and other field events
- Operate department truck/trailer combinations, and load and haul equipment from site to site
Equipment
- Conduct basic evaluations of features, benefits and performance of Bobcat product lines
Development and Delivery of Training Content
- Develop material for and conduct sales trainings such as Bootcamps, RPMs, DCI's, Target Field Schools etc.
- Develop content for Doosan and Bobcat University.
- Maintain communication with customers, dealers and Bobcat field Managers both sales and service.
- Develop material and conduct training for dealership service technicians in the proper and safe diagnosis and repair of equipment.
Job Requirement
- Travel required: 25-50%
- Experience required: 0>2 years
- Education required: Bachelor’s degree preferred or eqivalent experience.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and a North Dakota CDL is required. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to present to groups or individuals.
- Basic computer skills. Ability to follow written instructions. Must posses excellent verbal and written communication skills to present to large and diverse audiences.
- Proficient in data mining, research and analysis
- Ability to independently lead specific Bobcat training programs
- Ability to develop industry leading online and in-person training content
- Competent understanding of Electrical & Hydraulic Systems and Diesel Engines
- A mechanical background/aptitude in agricultural, construction or industrial motorized, mobile equipment is essential.

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
