Job Details

Western State Bank is seeking a Market President to lead our growing Business Banking team in our Fargo/West Fargo markets. The core focus of Market President is:

  • Ensure the market’s profitability
  • Establish, build, and maintain a business banking portfolio
  • Conduct market analysis and develop new business opportunities, relationships, and product ideas to meet customer needs
  • Ensure a high level of coordination with the retail banking division for a superior customer experience
  • Assist and support in designing bank's products, services, and marketing strategy
  • Monitor the bank's performance, anticipate problems and adjust strategy to protect investments
  • Coach and mentor the business banking team, including officers and assistant.

 The qualities of the ideal candidate are as follows:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in business banking with 3+ yeas in a management position, leading a team
